16th May 2013 was the 70th anniversary of the Dambusters operation and the RAF commemoration included a fly past over the Derwent reservoir and on past the Roost. The Lancaster bomber was flown by Flight Lieutenant Tim Dunlop, nephew of the Edmonds at No. 5. It was escorted by a Spitfire and they were followed by two Tornedo GR4s.

The Roost: 10th Anniversary
Roosters and ex Roosters will be celebrating the 10th anniversary of the building on Saturday 17th August.
